It was a great pleasure to be able to show our beloved Pedriza to a group of passionate Irish hillwalkers who were on a visit to our mountains. Despite the intense heat, which was in keeping with the time of year, and the accident that befell Deirdre, I think they spent a great day immersed in this awesome landscape.

Es un inmenso placer poder enseñar nuestra querida Pedriza a un grupo de senderistas irlandeses que están de visita por nuestra sierra. Creo que a pesar del calor que nos hizo y del accidente de Tedra pasaron un buen día inmersos en este asombroso paraje.
Deirdre broke her wrist after slipping on the journey to the cars, and we had to bring her to La Paz hospital in Madrid. They treated her there and in Dublin afterwards. Conor saw her in September and I understand she has almost fully recovered from the accident. What a relief! I´m happy to hear, Deirdre, that you are well.
